Among the many literary Torah achievements of HaRav Yehuda Copperman , zt''l, without question the most significant is his monumental sefer Peshuto Shel Mikro. This work sets about trying to establish the parameters of pshat, as well as its overall role and contribution within the totality of Torah. This sefer is thus unique in that it teaches us to ask not only "What is the pshat?" but also "What does the pshat teach?" This choveret presents a selection of some of the Rav's classic ma'amarim, made available to the English-speaking public for the first time. With Hashem's help, it will hopefully pave the way for a more complete presentation of his teachings in the not-too-distant future.
